About the Scrap Yard
When I took over The Scrap Yard I wanted to continue providing a comfortable environment for scrap bookers to gather. I have accomplished that goal since I moved from the original location. I am now located behind Sheetz on Plank road.
The Scrap Yard is more than a store. It is a scrapbooking center, offering classes for the beginner as well as the intermediate and advanced scrap booker. The organized crops are a great way to meet other scrap bookers as well as to see new products and ideas in action.
The large crop room has room for 16 scrap bookers. There are many cutting tools available, including a Mark IV Accu-cut die-cut machine along with an alphabet and over 2 dozen shapes, a computer loaded with fonts and clipart images for journaling and a complete library of idea books. I have 2 cricut machines with a wide variety of cartridges, design studio and make the cut for the cricut
Our staff is knowledgeable and willing to help you create a special layout. We can special order items. Mothers are invited to shop with their children since there is a child's play area.
